Where you want to get married and when are the all-important questions to answer, and once you’ve got those two things locked in, you can start having fun plotting out all the details.
Checklist
Draw up a checklist of things you are looking for.
Your checklist could include whether you need onsite accommodation, what you want for the wedding breakfast and whether there is scope for getting married outdoors.

Choosing your date
Summer is, of course, the most popular time of the year for getting married, and it’s lovely to have a wedding when the sun is shining.
Welbeck Manor has an amazing outlook, with our idyllic and extensive grounds overlookin the golf course, is an absolute picture during these months. We also offer Marquee Weddings and work closely with an amazing local company.
However, a summer wedding can often come at a premium! Most venues charge their highest prices during the summer months and it can be tricky to secure preferred dates due to the competition for weekend spots. It also goes without saying that summer sunshine can never be guaranteed in Britain!
So lets look beyond the summer months! We think spring, autumn and winter are also fabulous seasons to get married in.
Autumn is an especially atmospheric and romantic time of the year for a wedding, particularly here at Welbeck Manor, when our grounds bloom with some spectacular autumnal colours and the fairy lights come out once the darker nights sets in.
