Situated on the picturesque Dartmoor reserve, surrounded by a stunning 9-hole Golf course, it’s safe to say Welbeck Manor has its own unique charm.
(In case you didn’t already know) it was built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel for his cousin in 1849.
Each of the luxurious bedrooms are named after famous bridges or local areas as a gentle ‘nod’ to the man who created the Manor House.
In 2021, new owners Paul, Jane and their family saw its potential and injected life back into the old house. Renaming it ‘Welbeck Manor and Golf’. They appointed local interior designers to give it that something extra special, whilst staying true to its original features; oak panelled walls, marble mantlepieces, feature windows and authentic central stairwell.
Tasteful modern elements were added to create an eclectic feel throughout.
Fast forward to 2022; there are still some exciting development projects happening in the background, but we guarantee, the moment you walk through the doors, you will be charmed by Welbeck

We have a selection of stylish and comfortable double rooms to choose from, as well as pet-friendly bedrooms, providing the ideal stop-over for anyone visiting the local area for work or pleasure. Just make our friendly reception team know if you require a family or pet-friendly room when booking. We also do an absulutely cracking breakfast to set you up for the following day!
